Passengers traveling with infants
Infants (less than 24 months old) may be held by their accompanying guardian without being seated separately.
(No bassinet service is provided. Only 1 infant passenger is allowed per 3 seats in a row.)
On both domestic and international flights, infants will not be provided a separate seat. However, if a passenger is accompanied by two or more infants, child fare will be applied from the second infant onwards, and a seat will be provided.

Child/Infant Car Safety Seat(or Devices) and Harness
Portable Car Safety Seat or Harness can be used on board with passengers with infant and child occupying their seats.
If an baby/child who has difficulty maintaining his/her body sits alone, please prepare a portable car seat for safety.
Car seats or harnesses must not interfere with evacuation in case of an emergency. Preferred seats may be limited.(Aisle seats, emergency exit row seats, and seats that are one row in front or back of overwing emergency exit rows are not permitted.)
Passengers must install and use it by themselves, and it can only be installed in the forward facing method.
Only Car Safety Seat with national certification mark and harness with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification are available.(Products without a certification mark shall be placed on the overhead bin or on the bottom of the seat, and if the carryon baggage size is exceeded, it must be transported by checked baggage.)
The size of the car safety seat must be width 43cm x length 38cm x height 70cm or less.
Please check before travel that car seats or harnesses are working normally, and that the baby/child does not exceed height/weight limits from device standards.
Please inquire of the resevation center since use can be restricted if you visit the site without reservation.
Baby Bassinet
Fly Gangwon does not provide baby bassinet service, will inform you through the website when providing the service later.
※ For cabin safety and passenger convenience, personal amenities such as Bedbox, Leg Hammock, Inflatable Cube, etc., which may restrict access to aisle and Emergency Exit or cause inconvenience to nearby passengers, are prohibited.
Pregnant passengers
Passengers less than 32 weeks into pregnancy may travel as normal passengers
unless specifically recommended by a physician to avoid air travel.
Passengers 32 weeks or more into their pregnancy may travel by air only when
certain conditions are met.
Please be sure to check the documentation requirements.
Air travel is prohibited
to ensure the health of mother and fetus.
Documentation required for air travel by pregnant passengers
1 original medical certificate
Must be drawn up and signed by an OB.GYN, and issued within 7 days of the date of boarding (covers return legs within 7 days of the start of the trip)
The Medical Certificate must clearly indicate the passenger's suitability for air travel and expected date of delivery.
Example) Passenger holding a Medical Certificate issued October 1: May board Yangyang - Taiwan flight on October 2 (document valid), but may not board Yangyang - Taiwan flight on October 9 (document expired)

Passengers who require wheelchairs
We offer passengers with difficulty walking free wheelchair rental upon departure and arrival.
Passengers who require a wheelchair are asked to request a wheelchair rental at the time of booking.
Please understand that airports may not have enough units available for rental to fulfill demand.

We do not carry pets in the car; hold on domestic or international flights.
Each passenger is allowed only 1 pet in 1 pet carrier. (A newborn animal and a nursing mother may be carried in the same carrier.)
Passenger is recommended to affix a label to the outside of the carrier with the passenger's name in English and emergency contact information.
Only two pets total are allowed on board per flight. Please contact our Customer Center to verify that a slot is available for your pet.
Animals which may not be carried (on board)
Only dogs, cats or birds may be transported on board. No other types of animal (rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, turtles, snakes, chicks, chickens and pigs, etc.) may board.
In addition, your animal may not be carried on the plane if: 1) the combined weight of your animal and the carrier exceeds 7 kg; 2) if the carrier exceeds 37 cm in width and 23 cm in height; 3) if your carrier does not fit beneath the seat in front of you, or; 4) if the flight is already carrying the maximum number of animals.
Pets administered sedatives or sleep-inducing drugs may not be carried, as these drugs may cause dangerous drops in core body temperature or blood pressure.
Animals which are unstable or aggressive, give off a severe odor or are unhealthy, and gestating females cannot be carried.
Aggressive dogs as specified in the Enforcement Regulations of the Animal Protection Act by Ordinance of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, as well as pets which exhibit aggressive tendencies, may not be carried.
Transport of pets
Pets for which the combined weight of the pet and the pet carrier sold at the airport or brought by the customer does not exceed 7 kg may be brought on board.
Your pet should be fed and watered at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight, and the floor of the carrier should be lined with paper, towels or blankets, etc.
To ensure safety, removing pets from their carriers is strictly prohibited.
You will be required to fill in and submit a Pet Transport Declaration at check-in.
Requirements for carrier
For transport in the cabin: Sum of all dimensions (WxLxH) cannot exceed 100 cm, with width up to 37 cm and height up to 23 cm
Carrier should have sufficient space to allow comfortable movement of your pet
Carrier should be made of a sturdy material such as metal, wood or plastic (carriers brought into the cabin may be made of cloth, leather or other soft material)
Carrier should have air holes and should be waterproofed
Carrier should have a locking mechanism which can be opened from outside in case of emergency

Passengers traveling with pets will be charged for carriage regardless of whether or not the passenger has any other luggage. Please contact the Fly Gangwon customer center to arrange for carriage in advance of your trip.
